Rocky Mountain Hi

Hi! I am here. After a whirlwind tour of much of the United States we have landed. In Utah. Shell-shocked. The more things change the more they stay the same never rang truer. I always wondered at that statement. What the fuck does that mean, I wanted to know. But it's true. I drive streets I had driven for years before moving to New York City and now I roll over them once again, finding I can navigate with my eyes closed. Or at least while simultaneously texting Anna back in Brooklyn and changing the station on my satellite radio. I refuse to turn on Utah radio. Period. Nickelback, Avril Lavigne and the latest American Idol contestant to churn out a record can suck it.

I started my job today and I love it. No bullshit. It will be good. Also, I have to type that because it seems that most everyone here reads this blog. There is now the chance that I will run into many who figure in this here bloggy blog. I am hoping like hell several people featured within these electronic pages have not found me here in cyberspace. Yet the longer I am here, the more people I speak with, the more I realize that, somehow, everyone reads it.

I should have known.

Still. Writing from New York City where I had a snowball's chance in hell of ever seeing certain people again is one thing. This? It's a whole 'nother thing entirely. Ditto for writing something quite personal and then being forced to face co-workers the next day. Will the tone of this blog change? I don't know.

Can open. Worms everywhere.
