Evolution, Baby

I know, I know... Two Babble links in a row. SORRY. Kind of. But I've spend the past two days working my ass off on this thing over on Babble. It was Serge's idea, actually. To write a piece on the evolution of the stroller. I didn't really know what I was getting myself into. Turns out, A LOT of research is involved. I felt like I was writing my dissertation for college or something. Not only did I do a bunch of intense research on who invented the stroller and when and all the changes that've occurred to it over the past couple hundred years, but I had to find photos to match. It's the hardest thing I've done so far for Babble, but I loved it. I realized I like researching stuff.

It's fascinating, or at least I think so, to see the kind of crap parents had to use back in the day. I mean, the first strollers were pulled by goats and dogs! Did you know that?! Some of the photos are cuh-RAZY. Man are we lucky. I mean, kind of. I'd rather live in the future where I'm certain strollers will hover along next to parents, but the gear they have right now is pretty cool too. I'd be much obliged if you checked it out. It's what I'm babbling about today.
