So Long, Summer

From green to golden, the cornfields are changing, leaves are culminating their season by transforming into the reddest reds you've ever seen, frost can be seen kissing the grass and licking windowpanes early in the morning. A chill is most definitely in the air. Summer is gone for another year but I think I prefer fall anyway. Pumpkins, plaids, argyle, leather boots, hot drinks, soup, the smell of smoke belching from chimneys... The autumnal color palette of yellows, golds, oranges and reds is a warm, happy one. Bring it.
